RssDemon: Asking for your Help!

RssDemon V3 has been released for 5 days, we have received both positive and negative reviews. Our team is working non-stop solving bugs reported. At this moment, most of high severity issues are resolved. We would like to sincerely ask for your help to continue improve this product.
1. When you discover bug(s) or like to request a feature, please contact us using this blog, or email us directly at meecel.dev@gmail.com. We are fine you post them on Android Market as review, but please make sure you also contact us by above methods, this is only way we could get back to you and make sure we understand your request, and when needed we need to ask you for more details.
2. We are looking for new language translators, if you really like RssDemon, could make long term commitment. Please checkout list of available languages. We also give out elite version to thank anyone who help us translate RssDemon.

The new version of rss deamon is very interesting by its new interface and features.
But i have noticeed that the playing of video podcast dont work.

v3 has been working great for me. I have a couple of items to request.
1. Searches. I don’t see a way to clear the search history. At the same time I would like to make some searches sticky and displayed under the favorites group.
2. Feeds list: make read and empty feeds display a non-bold font while feeds with unread items display bold. It makes it easier to see the feeds with unread items.

Please consider these:
1. Add some kind of progress icon (indicator?) for the feeds, which are currently being updated or offline content for which is being downloaded?
2. Add some kind of icon for the feeds, which are selected to always download offline content?
3. Follow folder structure of Google Reader?
4. Option to use either Instapaper optimizer for downloading offline content, Google mobilizer, or no mobilization.
They are great suggestion, we will look into them one by one.
One more thing I forgot: although I have purchased the license, I still see the “Help us” button, which offers me to buy the Pro version.
v3 seems interesting but currently (@ v3.1.7) it still doesn’t react to my headset (Sennheiser MM100) on ZTE Blade 2.1.
Ok so to try and fix things, I went ahead and updated to Android 2.2 but there’s still no reaction to my headset on v3.1.7. On top of that, the same is also true for RssDemon V2 now. 😦 Headset control DOES work with the Android default Music application however.

Follow-up: it seems there’s a new bug introduced in 3.1.7 – articles don’t get marked as red after reading and returning to the article list.
PS: This is only applicable for SOME feeds, not all. Weird…
Can u perform a backup from setting, them email me back the database.DB file, I will look into it further
Two things.
i) Like Dmitry_N, I purchased RSSDemon Elite a fair while ago but after this most recent update, my license appears to have been revoked.
ii) How about a podcast control homescreen widget?

I need one feature. Please add 1 min. time for synchronizing channels. Now 3 min is to long for Me. When You add this option program is usable form me, and I purchase it. And second One please remove confirmation for Mark All read option.
This both has been implemented and will be part of 3.1.8
3.1.8: IT seems that RSSDemon ignores the selected mobilizer option.

go to display & Presentation -> Display toolbar buttons->enable Mobilize Google and disable Mobilize Instapaper. at this moment, the option menu mobilize always open instapaper, we will look into it
The app seems to ignore the global feed article limit I have set and regularly exceeds this number.

Small bug… v3.1.8 (and prior)
Skip image file size is set to 80kb. All images are being downloaded however regardless of file size. I also have min dimension set to 20px. Download images only on wifi.

unfourtunately I directly installed RSSDemon Elite instead of installing the License application so my feeds from the free version do not appear in the Elite version. I tried to backup and restore but the application told me there was something wrong with my sd card (“Backup Failed”) (Firmware Version 2.3.3). So I tried to copy Database.db from com.meecel.feedreader… to com.meecel.RssDemonElite but this didn’t work either. Can you tell me which file to copy or how to make the backup work.

all you have to do is rename folder com.meecel.feedreader.RssDemonAd to com.meecel.RssDemonElite
I did so but strangely nothing changed. I looked at the Database.db file and saw that there right feeds are there. Is there anything I have to do to make rssdemon read the file?
